Good morning girls! Yesterday I didn’t have to go into work until noon, which allowed me to enjoy the stereotypical millennial brunch with my boyfriend! The thing I love most about brunching isn’t the avocado toast (but trust me, it’s a close second haha), it’s being able to get dressed up and look cute! I wanted to share my brunch outfit with y’all to give you some inspo (and for my girls experiencing winter right now, I’ll give you some ideas to make this outfit more cozy as well!)
- I started this outfit with a black shirt that I got from Abercrombie and Fitch last fall. The sleeves are big and baggy, and the V-neck is not too low at all!
- Next, I paired the shirt with acid-washed jean shorts from Abercrombie as well!
- Finally, I finished off the look with Steve Madden black wedge sandals, to dress it up a little.
I could not find any of the exact pieces online (they were all last season 😩 ) But it’s all good! I have linked up some similar pieces below so you can easily copy this look:
side note: A&F is not a partner of VenturesofMegan.Me (although I would seriously love that bc I love their clothes haha)! I just tend to have quite a bit of clothes from them: their jeans fit me really well and I feel like I always have pretty good luck with their tops.
how to make this outfit work in the cold:
There are many ways you can make this brunch outfit work in cooler weather! I’m so blessed to be where it’s warm (we were even able to sit outside and eat comfortably – it was so nice!!)! I know from experience that when I am too cold in an outfit, I am uncomfortable in the outfit! For my cool-weather-bearing girls, you can modify this outfit by pairing the shirt with a cardigan and a pair of jeans, and finishing up the look with a pair of knee-high boots instead of sandals! If it’s even colder, you can add a coat!
Thank you so much for looking into this brunch outfit! I really hope that it helped to inspire your next brunch outfit idea! If you want to read more of my style posts, click here!
