After a recent job change, I now receive (at least) an hour break at work. I have been utilizing this break the best ay I know how: heading to Starbucks and giving them all my money so I can sit and work on this blog. I am a person of habit, I will get the same thing at a place until I ultimately get sick of it, but right now, I have been addicted to my December Starbucks order.
Ventures of Megan does not receive any compensation from Starbucks (or for this post)! As always, all thoughts/opinions are my own!
haha so what is my starbucks order?
My Starbucks Drink: a hot peppermint mocha
I started drinking this drink at the end of November (yes, I am a Christmas in November person haha). I originally tried it when I was sick, thinking the peppermint would help out my sinus-situation (gross, i’m sorry haha) and since then I can’t pass a Starbs without thinking about it.
My Starbucks Food Item of Choice: a bagel with cream cheese
Cream cheese is my guilty pleasure, and I feel like this is such a basic food item, but its honestly just what I always choose!
how I remake this at home:
When I don’t go to Starbucks, I’m still addicted to these peppermint mocha drinks! (I know – It’s bad haha) I found out that Target sold them and I got so excited! (And I bought SO MANY K-Cups!!!)
The K Cups come with these powder-filled packages that I was really skeptical of at first, but I love them! They definitely are not the real deal, but they definitely give the drink a fake little froth that is close enough to the original! I could not find the K-Cup link on Target’s website, but here is the peppermint mocha flavor for regular coffee machines! You know I enjoy it in my reading nook too haha! If you want to know how I turn my own study/workspace into a place that feels like Starbucks (without the price of Starbucks), let me know in the comments below!
Also, Let me know what your favorite drink from Starbucks is in the comments below!
