Inspiration Board for 2020 | I started this blog as a creative outlet for myself to really allow myself to grow both creatively and personally. I didn’t want to narrow down a niche because I didn’t want to force content, instead I wanted to write what feels comfortable and inspiring to me. The topics I have chosen to write about are topics that I truly enjoy writing and talking about. I love shopping way more than your average girl, I love room decor, and I love going out and doing things.
Another thing that I absolutely love is planning, goal setting, and creating. This is a series that will be taking over my blog for the next couple weeks and I am so excited! For the next several weeks we will be talking about comprehensive goal setting! As I began to think about goal setting for my 2020, I realized that I really needed to have a vision going into the new year: what is inspiring me, what do I want to feel like in 2020? I have so many cool things planned for this blog next year, and I wanted a vision of what this is going to look like for my online presence and life.
my inspiration board
I decided that it was only fitting to create an inspiration board to inspire myself as we enter 2020. Soooo, I went straight to Amazon and bought myself this UBrand Bulletin Board. The bulletin board is all white, which I love because it makes it look super clean and it blends nicely with my white walls. When I look to 2020, I want to see simple: a life that is less busy and involves more creative freedom (which is what this plainness means to me).
I took photos from Pinterest as a way to gather some inspiration for my board, and I printed them out in color. As far as image credit, I am not sure who to give credit for on these pictures, but you can see my ever-evolving inspiration pictures on my Pinterest board “Inspiration” here.

Lastly, I found the calendar at a Paper Source store! When I saw it I knew it belonged in my room! I love the style of it! The calendar is more decorative than functional, so if that’s what you’re looking for you might want to pass! I just could not believe how pretty it was (and I never really use my wall calendars haha).
My mood board was full of pinks, tans, olive green, and sky blues and contains hand drawn lettering and images. I am really interested to see how these elements play a role in my life creatively in 2020!
